Ummm, the problem with this article is, the ATI card doesnt have the i7 hotfix, which brings nice returns on it as well. The howfix is for the new i7 platform , and a few other fixes. Unfortunately, not apples to apples

Note about the hotfix taken from AMD site.

"Note: This driver is provided as is and is not supported by AMD. It has not completed full AMD testing, and is only recommended for users experiencing the particular issue described above"
