I am using Asus m2-avm mother board with AMD 3600 dual Processor and 3 gb ram.Today i bought a new MSI Ati radeon HD 3850 1 gb Graphic card. THe problem is when i connect the Graphic card i dont get any display. Only orange led glows in monitor. But the display comes with Onboard graphics even when the card is connected. I am able to use the onboard graphic card while the new card is connected. THe fan in new card keeps running. Hope u can understand me. Please help me out.

You're going to have probably go into the BIOS to setup such that the display goes to the PCIe Adapter (basically tell the BIOS to deactivate the on-board video.)

Did you plug the Video Card into your power supply?
