Windows nas solution

Hi All,
I have a network using windows XP pro & workgroups, however I am unable to see the NAS drive I am wondered if it is because I do not have a domain setup any suggestions please

Append the DNS suffix in TCP/IP, if you need a domain, to each computer.
Also enter it in the router.
If you mount the drive, share it and give the proper permissions, you should be able to see the drive.
What NAS software are you using?
