Im saving up money and currently am at 225 bucks. First off i would like to know whether i should get gtx 260 sli or one gtx 280. The problem is that i dont think my power supply can do either. I have 2 6 pins on it, on 8 pin which i cant use becuase its on the motherboard, and a 2 wires of 4 pin perphial things. I dont know if it would work or not. And i dont feel like getting another one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well it depends on how many 12v+ rails and the amperage on them. GTX260 requires 36A for a single card so SLI you would double that to be safe (i think) we need more info

well thats not good. My combined a is 56A. I need 72A. Well that means gtx 280. But would it be safe for me to take out the 8 pin in my motherboard a replace it with a 4 pin.

wait never mind i can supply the 280, i found an adpater online that is a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter. I could use one 6 pin, and the other 6 pin through the adapter
