Here is a list of the stuff that I got:

I set it all up with only 2 ram modules (btw I bought 4 sticks), and powered it on, the lights all come up on the board, but no post screen, no beeps. Tried without the vga, and only ram. Tried without RAM and only VGA, tried all possible combinations and no beeps. i connected the mobo to speaker (System Warning Speaker) and no beeps. So can someone help me out?

Did you remember to plug in the 4/8-pin CPU power cable? It's the 8-pin connector with a cover over 4 pins in the bottom left of this picture right where the two heatsinks come together:

Did you remember to connect the 8 pin CPU power connector that is located near the back right corner of the mobo?
Beat me to it shortstuff_mt, was trying to eat and type at same time.

I have an ASUS P5B DELUXE MOBO. One day it just stopped. The problem was the battery was not making contact. A firm push on the battery provided relief.

Yes it works now... stupid me didn't see the 8pin cpu power connector... thanks for the help
