12V Molex to 8pin P8 Adapter is what I am having to buy online because I called around and no local stores even knew what I was talking about.

Basically my case's PSU didn't come with the 8-pin motherboard power connection.

When you look at the 12V Molex to 8pin P8 Adapter it has [2] molex female connecter going into the 8pin connector. Am I Suppose to connect 12 volts of power to EACH molex or just one female molex?

Here is a link to the product I am talking about. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812887002

It's Item#:N82E16812887002 on www.newegg.com

I eagerly look forward to your answers.

Your PSU should have a square 4 way connector with yellow and black leads. Most motherboards with 8 way connector will also take the 4 way. If your PSU doea not even have a 4 way it is too old to run a modern system. What are your system specs? What is rating of your PSU? Is this an old case?

Here are the two items to mention to help me solve this issue.
The case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156062
and The Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128358

The PSU again has only one rail but DOES have one 4-pin connector, but my motherboard needs a 8-pin connection for more power. I tried connecting the 4-pin to the 8-pin connection and it wouldn't even spin the HSF's fan one time.

I am curious if I have a PSU that does not provide enough power to my system?

I also have a EVGA 9800 GTX video card which claims to require 450 watts to use and the total output power of the PSU we have is 500 watts.

If you or anyone else can help I'd sure appreciate it a lot.

Does your PU have 24 way main power connector, or is it a 20 + 4 that slot together? What CPU? Raidmax is NOT a good brand. To power up sytem you need at least a 4 way 12V plug connected near CPU. Best advice is to get a decent 550W PSU that comes with 8 way connector. You only paid $60 for case and PSU, you should expect to pay at least $90 for a decent PSU.

i'VE BASICALLY GIVEN UP. My 500 watt case and PSU is not enough I guess to power a 9800 GTX+ video card and a Quad core Q9400. I DO have the 20+4 power cable for the motherboard, it is not the issue.

I did order a 4-8pin converter wire and that I guess is a wasted $15 since this 500 watt PSU is likely not going to be enough. Right?

I didn't pay $60 for this case I paid $99.99 and with shipping + tax is was $118

I have ordered a 700 watt PSU for $98 and I hope that solves my problems?
