Dynabook cant boot from cd rom drive

I have a dynabook with windows crushed and I want format and reinstall windows but I have tried different external cd rom drives, but it cant boot from it.

Can you boot from USB stick ? Is your windows CD a boot one or upgrade only ?

Change the booting priority man !
Insert XP CD in CD ROM
Restart your PC and press F2
Change the booting priority
Save Settings and restart your PC.
