I'm currently looking to finish off my new budget build, I'm looking at putting this processor in.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 95W Dual-Core black edition Processor

I've read alot of reviews that have said for amd that going with a 790gx or 790fx NB and the AMD 750 SB were the way to go as I plan on doing some minor overclocking. I see only one problem with this and that's that they seem to be geared toward ATI cards and I'm going to be running an NVidia card in mine. Is there any advantage of going with an Nvidia chipset over the 790 series other than the SLI capabilities? I'm at a loss any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

PS I'm looking at staying around 100$ for the board if I can.

If you're only running a single video card, then it doesn't matter.but if you want to SLI down the road, then it does. However,in my experience,a good higher-end video card is better than running two mid range cards in SLI.Goodluck.
