How do I see my CPU temperaure?

Hey everyone,

Why can't I seem to find an answer to this?

I have a Phenom 965 Black Edition in an MSI 790FX GD70 and I want to see the CPU temperature.

I see so many people posting temps but for some reason I can't get an answer on how to do it.

I just built the rig, I fired up Dragon Age and the (stock) CPU cooler spun up so fast and loud it sounded like a radio controlled plane was on my desk (slight exaggeration, but it was alarmingly loud...).

I have a well-ventilated Antec 1200, I just want to see what my CPU temp is like so many other people seem to be able to.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike

Just download any temp monitoring program, Realtemp and HWmonitor are the preffered programs.

    http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/Real_Temp/

Just install it and open it up and the temps are right there.
