Whats the best way to spend $1000 on a gaming pc.

I dont need:
Case
Hard drive(maybe upgrade have 250g)
Sound Card
Heatsink
fans

Obvious needs:
CPU
Video Card
RAM
Powersupply
DVD/cd

Give or take $200

what socket types does your heatsink support? This will help to determine if you should go AMD or Intel. Otherwise you could just go with core i7 which will most likely need a new heatsink(or just use the stock one).
