I got the USDTV STB as a clearance item at Wal-Mart
today for $125.

I'm using a Philips VHF/UHF indoor antenna with it.

Reception as been variable.

I put a switch in the AC power line so I can "reset"
the STB because it will sometimes mute the audio.

I get that too, but with a Samsung. I usually can do CH UP/CH DN to
clear it, however -- don't have to power off.

I discovered my USDTV STB produces quite a lot of RF
interference so I keep the AC power line switch off when I'm
not using it.
