Overclocking cpu

i have an alienware system w/intel duo core cpu t9400 2.53 and ati 3870 series dual graphics card i understand i may be able to overclock both how can i accomplish this

It's never a good idea to try to OC a laptop. It's just too hard to get rid of the extra heat.
