Her set up is very similar to mine except NO OC and her memory is Crucial Ballastix..., mobo is Gigabyte p965.... memory is 4x 1gb.... I ran memtest with 2 sticks, in 2 slots, got errors, run them in the other 2 slots, no errors.. 2nd set of sticks, no errors in any slots...... Run the original set 2 more times is both sockets, no errors.... I was running sets of memory to try to help me more quickly find which stick was bad... How the heck do I find the bad stick(s)?? Any suggestions? I know that my version of Memtest is a bit older... could that be it? Removing and inserting the modules a couple times might have been enough to resolve the issue. Insert all 4 modules and run memtest for several hours. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
