16804.

System Specs are:

Windows 7 64 Bit
8 Gigs of 1066 Ram in Dual Channel Ganged Mode
2x SSD 40 GB Intel Drives in Raid 0
3.6ghz (OC'd from 3.4ghz) Quad Core Phenom
2x GTX 295's in SLI
Asus m4n82 deluxe mobo

It's weird because when I enable SLI mode I get a very similar score. It's almost like this second card isn't doing ***.

Help?

Nevermind, just tweaked some settings in the Nvidia settings and now have 18109 with SLI enabled. Is that good for the specs I provided?

Your CPU is limiting you. I can score just under 25K in 3DMARK06 with my system.
Sell (or give) me one of your GTX 295s :)

Wait, so you're saying that if I send you one of my GTX 295's I'll get better scores?

Sure.. I guess. what's your address? Just PM it to me..

Also, why is my score 18,000?

Is this person right where he said it's my CPU limiting me? But why do I see people with 3.4 ghz and 1 card getting the same score?

I'm too lazy to look up the article, but Tom's did a balanced gaming rig piece. Trying to find the best CPU/GPU balance. Turns out the GTX 295 loves CPU speed. The 2nd 295 won't get you much, if anything, until you move to an OC'd i7.

So should I check my mail box in about a week then? :D . In exchange I'll send you the benchmark of quad SLI on an i7.

Edit: Nevermind, I just realized after I hit submit that I can't SLI my GTX 260s with the GTX 295. :(  Keep it! I don't want it anymore! lol

I get 21k with a 955 an hd 5850, Your cpu wont bottleneck that score.

Try running 3DMARK06 with only one GPU and see if your score goes up. 3DMARK06 is very CPU dependent. At stock clocks I get around 19000. When I overclock my CPU to 3.9GHz with a mild GPU overclock, I get just under 25K. Try running 3DMARK Vantage. It's more relevant for modern hardware.

Sorry to hear that I your 3Dmark06 is low and it should be high than than.
For me my 3Dmark vantage score was about 16,869 and with
3Dmark06 I overclocked my CPU a few times

Now my 3Dmark06 Result

UPDATED (FEBRUARY 15, 2010)
But If I overclocked it back to 3.77Ghz I would be 22096 and If I overclocked it back to 4.0Ghz´╗┐ it would be 24307. I did some benchmark test about 4 times and got the results. I was happy with 24307

Now @ 19,200 with 3.8ghz OC'd.. Surprised none of the geniuses here are helping identify what exactly is wrong.. The bottlenecking theory doesn't seem to be right.. I think it could be a video card thing..

Also it can me a Motherboard and Video card or memory issues.

How is your overclock for your Ram? what is the clock speed on it ??

More than likely a Nvidia driver issue. Personally I have had some extreme differences when trying different drivers. Off the top of my head running 3DMark03 I have seen as much as 5000 points difference and around 1000 in 3DMark06.

I would think with 2x 295's you should be well over 60 FPS. Which driver are you currently using?

196.21 and I agree with you.. I don't know what is happening.. It's always like this for me, I alwys have bad luck with this stuff.. It makes no technical sense

Haven't tried that 1 yet. They have released 1 since though, 196.34 It's a Beta driver (not that it makes any difference, unless you need a certified score for some benchies like 3DMark06) I'm currently using 190.38 and that's the first one since 177.79 that I liked, where I had decent performance, as in nice scores and no dropping of frames in game play.
Just be sure and check temps and such if you decide to change. I tried one driver that my fan did not work, good thing I didn't fry up my G-card!!!!
