Hi Guys

I've been wondering what would be the best way to position my Zalman 9700 to get the best airflow. Right now, I have it where the 9700 is pointing vertically, with it blowing air onto the 200mm 'big boy' fan on top. My main reason for doing this was because heat rises, and that way the heat would be quickly taken away by the 200mm.

On the other hand, I noticed most people who use 900s have their Zalman 9700s horizontal, with it exhausting onto the 120mm right behind it. Apparently it creates a wind-tunnel effect or something where as having it vertical creates turbulance...

What do you guys think is better? Should I have my fan exhausting up towards the 200mm or sideways toward the 120mm?

I can try to load some pics if people arent sure. Also, I'm NOT using a window fan. The fans in the case are Antec 900 default. That means 2 120mm in the front intake and one 120mm and 200mm exhaust.

Thanks
