P45 or X48 chipset

my current pc is as follows Q6600 - (oc @ 3Ghz)
Asus P5k Ai Lifestyle P35
coolermater 650watt PSU
OCZ 2 x 1Gb PC2-6400 timings of 444-12
Ati 4870 Hd 512mb
Creative X-Fi Fatility xtreme gamer edition
Antec 900 Midi Tower

ive got a 8800 gts 320mb that will be used for this pc and used as a spare, so ill be putting my ati on new mobo, i think ive set my mind on the Q9550,i plan on a oc of 3.2Ghz min, 3.4Ghz would be most id crank it up to, so i was wondering if u have any advice on a mobo to buy, im stuck between these 2 at the moment,

1, ASUS Rampage Formula Republic of Gamers Series iX48 Socket 775 8 channel audio

2, Asus P5Q Deluxe P45 Socket 775 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard

asus p5q pro... not the deluxe...

I got the deluxe... and the pro is the exact same thing except for like 2 features in hdd setup... (raid i believe) and 50$ less... and the p5q boards almost always get close to 500 FSB on their boards... only reason i haven't gotten my q9550 at 4 ghz (its at 3.85 now) is because i didn't feel like using all the bios options to really squeeze every mhz out of it

if you plan on DEFINITELY going crossfire in the NEAR future get an x48 board... but otherwise get the p45

bit late with reply i know, but thanks for ur advice, anyway ive decided to buy a new i7 pc and give this to my daughter, but i will get the P5Q pro in time, to get a better oc and pass my old p5k to another family member so i can oc his e5200, no rest for the wicked eh lol nice 1 for reply anyway
