I am interested in learning if there's a way to setup a RAID1 array that connects to my laptop via one of it's inputs or perhaps a latpop docking station.

My laptop is the HP Pavilion dv4-1225dx. It has the following inputs:

1.0 x Display / video - Input - 4 pin USB Type A , 1.0 x Storage / Hi-Speed USB - HDMI - RJ-45 , 1.0 x Docking / port replicator - Output - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15) , 1.0 x Headphones - Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX - RJ-11 , 1.0 x Display / video - Phone line - Mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm , 2.0 x Remote control - Infrared - Mini-phone 3.5 mm , 2.0 x Modem - VGA , 1.0 x Network - Hi-Speed USB / eSATA , 1.0 x Microphone , 1.0 x Hi-Speed USB

Storage Controller / Serial ATA Interface Serial ATA-150

Currently I have two Maxtor 500GB SATA-150 HD's sitting around that could be used. They are internal HD's that came out of a desktop I recently retired.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks, that looks like a good solution. Would I be able to read/write to it via Wireless?
