TV / Gaming Display Suggestions

I want to be able to watch HD TV and game on the same display through my PC. Budget for a display is from $300-400. LCD TV or Monitor?

I also need a tuner card that can record and has a remote. Suggestions?

With your budget you will be better with LCD monitor

For TV tuner the choices are ATI 650 PCIE express, pinacle HDTV , hauppage. These tuners can do HD and regular analog TV
