Does anybody use a GA-MA74GM-S2 (not H) and Athlon X2 5050e combo?

On the official CPU support list, the 5050e is not listed. The GA-MA74GM-S2(H), on the other hand, does have the 5050e listed.

If you look at the BIOS update history, the latest update for BOTH boards lists a CPU ID update to the same AGESA3.3.2.0, which I assume added support for the 5050e. The only published difference between the S2 and the S2H is the HDMI interface, I think. I don't see any reason why CPU support would be any different.

I ordered this combo a couple days ago and just discovered this potential issue. I hope the web page is simply out of sync...

I have e-mailed Gigabyte support but wouldn't be surprised to get a boiler-plate response back. Does anybody have any real-world experience?

Bump for anybody in the know... I can't return the CPU if opened, so I'm afraid of testing it on my own... :)

Hate to leave a post dangling, so here's the update: it worked!
