Driver reinstall when installing new GFX?

Hi,

Right now I have a 8800 GTS 512 gfx with the latest nvidia drivers installed so they support the newest cards. I'm thinking of upgrading my gfx to a GTX 280 and I'm wondering whether it is recommended to reinstall the same drivers for optimal performance or can I just put that new card in and it will work flawlessly at top speed?
It's just that I have these drivers working very good at the moment and I don't want to mess it up.

Yes, it would be a good idea to uninstall the old drivers before you switch the cards out.
After you have switched the cards, install the Latest Forceware Drivers for best performance.
