RMA nowhere to back up

I bought a new external hard drive last week, and finding bad sectors now. I;d like to return the hard drive, but I have 500gb of data with nowhere to back it up. I heard that western digital will send you a new hard drive, while requiring you to put the old hard drive in the same box.

It's called an advanced replacement and yes, most companies do it but they require a credit card to secure the transaction.
