Alright so im going to upgrade my graphics card and wanted some advice. I am getting a gtx 260, but wanted to know about brand differences. i would like to get either the Evga core 216 superclocked edition, or the Bfg OC2E. i have always bought evga because of their great support, however on newegg at the moment i can get either of these for within $5 of eachother, except the bfg one comes with farcry2 which i dont own yet.

anyway i have heard stories about bad Bfg support and how hard it is to register for warranties. can anyone give me some advice? im considering the fact that Evga has 90 step up, and bfg has 100 day trade up also since all the rumors of the 55nm die shrink coming. so yea let me know what you think.

Evga: $245 (weekend special i think)
core: 626mhz
mem: 2106mhz

Bfg: $250 after $20 MIR
core: 630mhz
mem: 2126mhz

I think BFG was one of those companies dropped by Nvidia. At least "rumored", so who knows how good that 100 day trade up thing is good for.

i forgot all about that. i was just considering it because if you take the fact that the game is $50, its like getting the card for $200 which is pretty good. can anyone say anything about bfg quality or support?

also, another thing just came to mind. i have an OCZ gameXstream psu. it has 4 12v rails at 18A each, not one huge 12v rail like some better psus. on bfg's site it says the card needs 38A on the 12v rails. is this enough since i have 72A over the four rails, or will it not work since 36A over two rails falls short?
