Note: When using the enclosed antenna, you will only receive
UHF channels.

I'm currently using a Philips MANT210 VHF/UHF indoor antenna
with my USDTV ATSC STB, it there an indoor antenna design
that's a lot better for VHF DTV than "rabbit ears"?
KMBC-DT 7 has some picture breakup.
KCPT-DT 18,
KCWE-DT 31,
KPXE-DT 51 have some picture breakup.
KCTV-DT 24,
KSHB-DT 42 have severe picture breakup.
WDAF-DT 34,
KMCI-DT 36,
KSMO-DT 47 no reception so far.

Actually the Silver Sensor will often work quite well for highband
VHF channels 7-13, although the higher the channel, the better it
will usually work.
I've had good results with "make your own" VHF antennas using flat
twin lead cut to a specific channel.
Scroll to the bottom of:

to see how to make your own highband VHF antenna.
You can connect one of these to a balun and then to a VHF/UHF
combiner, then on to the TV or STB.
Channel Master makes a good combiner (bottom of this link):

Thanks, I'm not sure if WDAF-DT 34 will become WDAF-DT 4 or
if KCTV-DT 24 will become KCTV-DT 5 after NTSC shutdown so I
will continue to search for an off the shelf indoor VHF
antenna.

Most lowband VHFs are not going to use LB VHF for DTV due to e-skip,
tropo ducting and impulse noise interference. I've also heard that
cable ingress is a problem with that band.
It looks like WDAF-DT has chosen 34 for their final channel selection

Here's an indoor antenna that claims to work for VHF & UHF:

Agreed, especially when any decent UHF antenna can receive VHF-Hi with
enough reliability for most installations.
