Formating write protected usb drive

help me to formatt my write protected usb memory stick on windows 7

Does your usb have any physical switch
like an SD card which may cause it to
write protect all of its contents?

Also,

there maybe an option if you right click your USB Stick as a whole from "my computer" and click "properties" there maybe an option or check box which says "write protect" or something similar.

Uncheck the box or option and that should do it.
