[SOLVED] Lost my sound... help!

I just installed a new graphics card and upon finishing, my sound icon is gone and I have no sound. The device manager says that the sound driver is fine. What do I do?

It's an HP a1750e with the onboard sound...

UPDATE: Ok, so here's what fixed it. The HD3450 I installed apparently has a history (I found one other instance of my hardware setup) causing this. The solution is to go into the bios settings and set the sound card to 'enabled' instead of 'auto'. Somehow the HD3450 makes the computer think it has a pci sound card or something. Wacky.
