Deciding on Changing my mobo or replacing.

Alright, I have the gaming rig, but, my biostar I45 P45 is flaking on me for the 2nd time, PCIe 2.0 x16 2nd slot bailed on me when crossfiring.

Im about to be done with biostar and need help.

thinking on getting the new GIG UD3P or an ASUS P5Q PRO idk yet. Any info would be nice.

OC'ing is a must in the catagory

The DFI DK P45-T2RS Plus is an excellent motherboard, capable of 600 fsb oc in the right conditions, and recebtly got a price drop to parity with the GB and Asus boards.

It kicks their butt when it comes to overclocking, especially the P5Q Pro, which is very limited oc-wise and definitely Not Pro.

i did look at the P45 Foxxconn board, not bad.

idk! just to many to pick from!

(2x2gb)
E8500 CPU / S1283 heatsink. oc'd to 4.2ghz
Seagate Barracudda 500gb
hd 3870 x2 upgrading to 4870 1gb sapphire.
centrion 590 case with 3 addon scythe 120x28mm fans.
