Msi netbook keeps going to a blue 'disk check' screen

Every time I start my netbook it is going to this screen. After the 5 stages it starts windows xp. I have no bottom start bar and after a few minutes it shuts off and goes back to the 'blue' screen. Please Help! This started last night when it needed restarted after automatic updates.

Sounds like a failing hard drive. Do you see any errors while chkdsk is running?

No didn't see any errors but it did take a long time for the disk check to finish. I ended up just doing a F3 and did a system restore. So far so good-i just lost whatever I had on there.

Do a chkdsk with surface scan.
