Does someone owns a Sony SDM-S71 LCD ?

I have one....I've had it for a few month's....I really like it....I've had no problems with it...I'm a big gamer...I'm using a p4-2.53 with a ATI9700 pro...great monitor.,..

Was wondering if you could tell me what the response time of this sexy lookin monitor is... 16 or 20 ms?

25ms...its like 20ms up and 5 ms down for a total...something like that...its good....

Thanks pooka. Sounds cool. But I'm confused... I did a little research on sonys website and they've got a s71R with a response time of 16ms (12:4). Does anyone know if this is like a revised version or something? Or if maybe the specs they've listed are wrong? Looks very tempting if it is 16ms...

it's just a newer monitor i suspect, i checked on the sony web site and sure enough the S71R has a 12:4 (16ms) response time

in the UK it retails at £410 which is slightly more than the Hitachi CML174, they have the same response time....but the sony looks nicer :)

I think the Hitachi is slightly newer then the SDM and i ve seen xcellent reviews of it... But if ur after the sony this might help.
