Ok, i have 2 8800gt's in SLI core clock 730/memory 1050(2100)/shader 1750
I only get 22-23fps in crysis benchie, more like 30-40fps in game 86% of the time. why is my performance so low? or do i have to high of standards?

2nd(perhaps this goes in Overclocking

My old driver
178.24_geforce_winvista_64bit_english_whql

seems to overclock better then my new one where when i OC i get less NDVK driver error if i OC then play a game also i can OC high and still remain stable

180.48_geforce_winvista_64bit_english_whql

that said with "lower" OC i never get driver errors..only little tiny artifacts.

I think my fan is set to max...every time i set my fan higher i never see..hear a difference. I was wondering if modding my VGA bios to a higher default fan speed would work....also how dangerous is it as i know if your MoBo Bios gets messed up ur kind of SOL?

use rivatuner to set your fan speed to 100%

As for your gpu overclock, if you are getting any artifacts at all then your card is getting to hot and your overclock isn't stable. Back off of the overclock until you can run AtiTools or 3dmark for an extended amount of time and not get any artifacts.

As for your performance, what resolution are you gaming at?

1680x1050, most benchmarks i see a single card getting 5-10fps less, i though 2x SLI would work like a champ, i have tried rivatuner but it started to upset me so i ditched it....
