I've been cruising the laptop market for several months now and so far the best i can find for GPU's is from sager. The 9800M GTX in sli, 1 gig ram each. However, I have recently read that ATI is coming out with their 4xxx mobility series in a few months? Before i go dropping 4 grand on laptop with the 9800m's in it I was just wondering how it would compare to that of the upcoming ATI mobility cards (running crossfired of course)? Speculations? Facts? Ive seen the 38xx mobility cards and from what i have read they fall short in performance of the 9800m's in sli.
Any information regarding this issue would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

No SLi results, but a single 4850m seems to be beaten by a single 9800mGTX. I don't know why they place it higher on the list - perhaps just by hardware specs.

I see, I suppose it would be a safe assumption that even if they did produce a 4850M in xfire it would be on par with the 9800M gtx in sli at best.

Thanks Frozen.

If anyone else has anymore insight to this matter i'd love to hear it. Thanks.
