I am on a small home network with two computers using a Linksys WRT110 Wireless Router, I am hardwired into the router through the wall.
I followed Port Forwards guide (http://portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm) for setting up a static IP and everything worked fine. I am able to connect to the internet and everything.
I then follow the guide for forwarding a port (http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WRT110/Starcraft.htm) on the WRT110.
I am able to access the routers web browser easily and change the settings necessary to forward the port. When I try and test if the port is correctly forwarded with PortForward's checker tool (http://www.portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm) it says that the port is not open.
I've tried by completely turning off any sort of firewall I have (Windows and Avast) and still no luck.
I've tried resetting the router and doing it over again, but to no avail.
Any ideas?
