Can I dual boot in Windows 7?

Can I connect a dead laptop drive (uses windows XP) to a new pc (windows 7) using a SATA to SATA cable.
If so can I set up a dual boot?
One drive in XP the other in Win 7?

yo can do it ..but need to do some work

after hooking you XP hdd to your pc
boot you PC with XP cd & go to system repair cmd prompt & rebuild MBR

the boot you PC with win 7 dvd & do the same

also try with

It took a few days but I found CD's for both pc's. As soon as I get an enclosure for the tiny laptop hdd I'll be set to go.
