I have a problem whereby when I start my system it randomly reboots once the Windows logo appears. This does not happen all the time but, when it does I resolve it by disconnecting the monitor lead and re-connecting it, the system then starts normally (Windows start-up options screen is displayed). I have reseated my graphics card (often) and checked that it's secure. I have also removed the card and used the built-in graphics and the problem goes away. I'd like to know if this is a graphics card problem or the AGP slot on the mobo. I read a topic that suggested reducing the AGP from 8 to 4 so I've tried this and will see if it makes any difference.
Mobo is ASROCK P4vm8
AGP card is HIS Excalibur Radeon 9200
