Hello,
I have 900 MB of geneology research that I need to send to another family member. At some point they would need to make additions/corrections. Since files saved to DVD become write protected would flash drive be a suitable method? Any other suggestions?

Flash drive is the best way. Light, pretty sturdy, editable. Just make sure you keep a local copy and don't just move the original to the drive. You can also setup a network share for the file http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-free-browserbased-p2p-fi...
