I have 2 Nvidia 8800 GTS 320mb GPU and I am trying to install the second one in the second slot on the motherboard.
However, I cannot get it to fully insert into the socket as there are 4 other sockets further to the right preventing the full insertion in to the socket due to teh GPU size.(These 4 slots - which I think are connected to my 2 hardrives and DVD/CD rewriter).
Are the 8800' too big for the second pci-e slot on a n650i mother board or is there way around this problem.
If anyone can give any advice on this intallation that would be greatly appreciated.
Failing that I may just have to sell both and invest in a single higher spec card.
Mother board specs as follows:
Asus P5N-E SLI ACPI Bios Revision 0703, SLI Nforce 650i SLI (C55)
