Intel C2D e8500 3.16Ghz - $180
EVGA nVidia nForce 750i FTW (Gold Award from [H]ardOCP)
EVGA nVidia Geforce GTX 260 w/ 216 Cores (Compared equally to the HD 4870 1Gb which got a Gold Award from [H]ardOCP) - $385 Combo w/ the MB
Corsair Dominator 2x2Gb DDR2 1066 - $80
PC Power & Cooling 750W Silencer (Gold Award from [H]ardOCP) - $100

Case, HDD, DVD+RW are from my old system. Using a Thermaltake MaxOrb HSF as well.

Total cost from Newegg with a free copy of FarCry2 = $751

Booted up first try, no problems no issues. User friendly BIOS OC'd the DDR2 to 1066 with only two steps. Easily adjusted the mem timing to 5-5-5-15 (2T) as well (I'm a noob at OC'ing so I'm surprised it didn't blow up).

System is fairly quiet even w/ the MaxOrb, the PSU Fan, Corsair's memory Fan, the GTX 260, a PCI Exhaust Fan, 2 80mm fans, 1 120mm, and a tiny northbridge fan (which comes w/ the MB).

Playing Crysis at 1680x1050 in Full HQ w/ 8Q AA. Avg 30FPS
Crysis Warhead at 1680x1050 in Full HQ/VHQ (Objects, textures, Shaders, Particles, Water at VHQ) w/ 8Q AA. Avg 20FPS
SupCom at 1680x1050 w/ highest settings (Medium Shadows just cause I don't care). SupCom's FPS varied a lot depending on zoom of course, anywhere from 15-60fps but even at 15 FPS there was no noticeable lag or choppiness.

Unfortunately I'll need a new monitor to get higher res, at the max atm.

All running smooth though.

EVGA's customer service is very quick and helpful as well (had a registration issue).

And he has same fps as you in crysis with lower/worse graphics
