Help and support service missing

Hello,
I opened a Fedex file on my email and i reckon it inserted a virus. I am unable to open Help and Support, when I try it gives me a message "helpctr.exe - Application not found". Hence I am unable to do a system restore and eliminate the virus. Have you any suggestions?
