How to test cpu full load

what program do you all recommend to test my amd phenom II x4 965 at full load? I'm trying to get temps at idle and full load.

Use a program like prime95 or intelburntest to get load temps :)

You can use core temp or real temp to monitor your temps.

thanks for the feedback. IS there a program to test how well the computer is running , FPS etc.? Ive been out of comp building and computers in general for quite some time.

3Dmark vantage or 06 or there are alot of game benchmarks out there. Lets say you are going to buy a Resident Evil 5 game and want to see how well your system performs you can run Resident Evil 5 benchmark and see.

hey use orthos you can check both cpu and memory to the max limit ie 100 % also TAT is another option.both are useful for c2d

I run prime 95 and orthos's gpu stress at the same time for max temps, that really warms up everything in the box.
