One of my local retailers is selling G.Skill RAM (link to product: http://newgskill.web-bi.net/bbs/vi [...] r2&no=120) for 25€ discount.
I was planning on getting 4GB of 800MHz Kingston ValueRAM first, but that costs only 10€ less than the GSKill after the discount.

My problem is, that I don't know if the G.Skill mentioned above will work on ASUS P5Q-E.

The qualified mb list on http://newgskill.web-bi.net/bbs/vi [...] dr2&no=120 has:
Asus P5Q Deluxe
Asus P5Q Pro
Asus P5QL-E

but not Asus P5Q-E.

I guess it'll work, since there is not any major difference between Pro and -E, but if someone knows better, I'd be glad to heart it :) Thanks.

i think you should be fine. check ASUS QVL and GSKILL QVL

sometime only ASUS or GSKILL have tested it. if asus have .. NICE. sma thing if GSKILL have .. NICE !
