Here is how my budget build for $650AUD has progressed so far:

CPU: Intel E5200-$142
http://ccpu.com.au/show_cat.php?cat_id=cpus

Motherboard: ASUS P5Q SE/R- $135 (site labels as $145, but it's on special)
http://ccpu.com.au/show_prod.php?class_id=motherboards&prod_id=P5QSER

RAM: Corsair 2GB KIT TWIN2X2048-6400C4 Corsair 800Mhz -$77
http://www.arc.com.au/?MEMD264COTX2GK

Video card: MSI 9600GT 512MB ddr3, overclocking version- $123
http://www.arc.com.au/?VIDMSIPX9600GT

DVD drive- LG SATA DVD-Burner-$30

Case/PSU:
Cooler Master Centurion 5 with 460W power supply- $100
https://9289.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=74_106&products_id=1485

OR

Antec NSK4480B with 380W Earthwatts PSU- $128
http://www.atcomputer.com.au/content.aspx?cate=2013&page=0

TOTAL- About $600

What do you think of these choices?

I need help picking out a case/psu. Take into account im going to get my friend over to overclock my cpu and in future, i may add something like more ram or an extra harddrive. How close am i cutting it with the 380W? Should i go quality with the antec or more power with the cooler master?

THANKS! You guys have been a great help so far!

Looks like a good build. I like the Antec PSU a bit more, but like the Coolermaster case. Tough call. How do prices of a HD4850 compare to the 9800GT ? If within $20-$30 i'd go with a 4850.

The vid card chosen is suggested to have a min system power of 450... just a thought but the earthwatts may not be enough

Ok, well, ive decided to downgrade my video card to the 9600gt (overclocked version). I thought the 9800gt was a little overkill.

In case anybody was wondering, ill be using the 500gb hdd from my old system.

if this looks like a good build, ill probably go out and get the parts tomorrow. Would anybody disagree about any of those parts?
