Hey guys I just recently upgraded my system and have run into a huge issue which I need resolved ASAP in order to get my files so I can continue to work on my paper.

I bought an ABS Tagan Bz series 700w Powersupply and I currently have an Asus p5k-e motherboard. My processor is a Q6600 which was Oc`d when I switched the PSU`s since my old one was a 500w.

The issue is that My computer won`t boot, there is power to the mobo since the green light is on. But I press the power button, only sometimes I will flash on real quick the LED lights from the fans will turn on and within half a second will turn right back off.

I know its not the mobo cuz I plugged my old PSU back in and it works fine and everything starts up.
Please any assistance is needed. I`m in dire need to get this up and running.
Thanks

You might have a defective PSU... since it obviously works using the old PSU, I would recommend exchanging your new PSU.

Reinstall the old PSU and run the CPU on base speeds until you can exchange your new PSU out.
