Well here is my thoughts on the build:
* What is your budget? You seem to have top notch parts, but this seems really expensive.
* Depending on your ultimate goal here, I don't think a 1000w PSU is needed. A Corsair 650tx will power the 4870x2 easily and it only costs about $75 after MIR's!! I'd go with the Corsair 750tx myself for $101 shipped - $20 MIR = $81!! It has plenty of connectors and will handle any X-fire/SLI setup out right now (2 cards only).
Corsair 750 tx Corsair 650tx: $95 - $20 MIR = $75 * That mobo is a nice one. I think it's overpriced, but if it has what you want and your going to do some good OC'ing than it would be one to consider. Otherwise a good p45 based mobo will do, especially if your just sticking with 1 GPU!! You'll save +$100 on the mobo that you can put into something else or just save the $ for another upgrade later.
* The Antec 1200 case is nice, but it's quite BIG!! I'd consider the Cooler Master 690 or Antec 900 for a build like this. The CM 690 case is $79 shipped and the Antec 900 is $100 shipped!
Cooler Master 690 case Antec 900 case * e8600 is a nice CPU, but for the $ I'd go with the e8500. It's about $80 cheaper and can OC up to about 3.8 ghz on Air cooling. Or you can go with a q9550 with the savings on the Mobo/PSU/Case listed above.
* The VelociRaptor HD is nice, but for way less $ I'd go with 2 x 640 gb HD's or even 2 x 1TB HD's over the VelociRaptor HD. Just doesn't make much sense to spend $280 on one 300 gb HD, when you can have over 2 TB's of HD space. Most people would get the 320/640gb HD for the OS and 1 or more TB HD's for data drives. It's up to you, but I'd consider those options.
* The ACF7 pro CPU HSF is a good solid upgrade from the stock coolers. If your going to be doing some more extreme OC's than I'd consider the Xigmatek s1283 CPU HSF w/retention bracket. It's about $20 more total, but under extreme OC's, it's hard to beat for the price!
Xigmatek s1283 cooler for $32 shipped! Xigmatek Retention bracket for $11 shipped! * The Sound Card is nice, personally onboard sound is quite nice. If your really picky about your sound though, an addon sound card is probably going to work better for you. I personally use a Headset, so I have the mic close to my mouth for chatting online. I think the headset is an overall better setup for gaming. That is just my opinion though, so take it how you like.
I built my own computer. my next upgrade is going to be a soundcard i belive. I add little by little to my rig untill i cant go anymore, this thing is a beast for any game really.
750w coolmaster psu

lunyone pretty much covered any possible change well.
If you are like me and just want a really good PSU with lot's of overhead for the future, consider an Antec Signature 850W. It's a bit more, but it's about the best you can buy in the US. It's pretty hard for most of us to touch, as it's $300.00 and a Corsair 750TX is only $120.00
In my sig is a link to my parts list. There is some better RAM there and links to the Signature 850W if you are interested.

It's $101 - $20 MIR =- $81 at Buy.com, like I listed above!! Hard to pass up if your building right now!!

*nod* I hope they aren't loosening up on the quality. I just installed one that had a wire inside making slight contact with the fan if you bend the cables the wrong way.
