Best budget overclocking CPU

Hey, I have been designing my new budget gaming build (£550 budget) and have been strugling with choosing my CPU and the motherboard to go with it.
Budget for the motherboard and CPU is about £130 ish.
Ideas: MSI 770-C45 with a AMD ATHLON II X2 240 around £100
P.S. everyone is saying not to get the core duos' as they are out dated but if I want to upgrade my CPU I will probably upgrade the motherboard as well so I am not to bothered about that
so what do you guys think?

Agreed. And for a cheap system, you can combine it with a Gigabyte GA-G41m-ES2L motherboard - about $70 each, US prices.

Your other option would be to go the AMD route and get a Phenom II Black Edition with an unlocked multiplier which would make for easy overclocking
