Was bored, until I came across this :

Get stunning visual results from your mobile or desktop PC with xxxxxxxx, including the full Microsoft Windows Vista* experience¹, beautiful video playback, and excellent mainstream gaming performance.

You want rich, vibrant color. You want smooth, crisp images. You want to play high-definition content at full resolution. You want cool realism when you play games on Microsoft Windows Vista.

High-definition video has revolutionized entertainment, and you shouldn't have to settle for playback that looks less than stunning.xxxxxxx Video Technology, a suite of video enhancements built into xxxxx Graphics available on select chipsets², means you don't have to.

xxxxxx Video Technology brings you enhanced video playback, sharper images, precise color control, and advanced support for the latest HD displays. This outstanding video experience is available without an add-in video card.

Now, Ill bet youre wondering who makes this marvel?

Aside from the gaming comment, nothing in that looks all that unrealistic. Although they are woefully inadequate at games, I wouldn't say that the Intel stuff is all that bad for even HD video, though it certainly can be improved upon.

Heres whats really funny tho

" According to Microsoft's performance numbers, one of Intel's new Core i7-965 processors can run Crysis at an average of 7.4 FPS at 800x600 with the detail level turned down. In the same test, Microsoft says Intel's DX10-capable integrated graphics hardware managed just 5.2 "

This is good news for the larrabee. When it finally comes out windows 7 will probably have generic drivers for it thats capable of running crysis very high.

Question: Will there be someone in this world running a core i7 965 without a graphics card play crysis ?

It may help, but it may not, it all depends on the devs , as usual.

Were going to soon be deluged with multicore/multithread everything soon, starting with Win7. But heres the situation "GeForce 8400 GS (which is available for $30 these days) outdid both solutions, though, scoring 33.9 ", which is by no means a killer card, so maybe LRB will need this?
