Coolmax 500w problem

I bought a new psu to replace my noisy, old 350w psu, I went to Micro Center and thought I was getting a good deal on this CoolMax 500 watt supply at $35. http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0278950

I installed it and it worked for about 10 seconds then quit. I can't get it to start again. I unplugged it, to reset it and it still isn't working. After buying it I see that it doesn't get great reviews for reliability.

I hope that MicroCenter will exchange it for me. Is there another way to reset this unit? My old unit reset by unplugging it.

I'm just hoping someone with experience with this specific model can give some help. Did I most likely get a bad unit, or should exchange it for another brand model.

Thanks.
