Hard drive not seen by BIOS

So i have a Foxconn P35A-S LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard that i bought on Newegg a few years ago, which has 6 - 3Gb/s SATA ports. I am running windows vista 64-bit.

The current hard drive is a Western Digital Caviar Blue WD3200AAKS 320GB plugged into the SATA0 port. I just recently purchased a secondary hard drive, a HITACHI Deskstar HD32000 IDK/7K (0S00164) 2TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive, and i plugged it in and windows vista and the BIOS or Windows does not see it. Anyone have any idea on how to fix it?

Probably the first thing I'd try is to swap power and data cables between the two drives just to rule out a cable problem. You could also try plugging the drive into your known good port (SATA0) to see if the BIOS recognizes it there.
