I use standard PSU up to 400 Watts ATX that came with my Chieftec case.
After putting the configuration together, the system would power up but without video and POST. I have cleared the NVRAM, but without success.

that cpu is supported by that mb.
if you are sure that the video card and ram work, you might try popping in another cpu and see if that boots. if everything boots with another cpu, you'll know it's a faulty cpu.
if it still won't boot with another cpu, then it's most likely the motherboard.
Thanks for your reply! No DDR2-533 are supported by this motherboard officially. Can this be the cause for this behaviour? As far as I am aware it might not perform at its best, but it should at least boot.
