Will my dg33bu mobo support 2.0 video card?

My Mobo supports x16 but not 2.0 and i know they are backwards compatible but only with 1.1 and i can not find if mine is 1.1. can anybody help me? Thanks!

Most often than not it should work. As PCI-E 2.0 video card should work in PCI-E 1.0 slots.

Yes, your motherboards G33 chipset is PCIe 1.1 and yes, any PCIe device will work on it.
