I don't see any problem there, weather its a P4 or Celeron, you should be ok. As long as both are socket 478. Yeah the FSB (533) seems to be compatible. You should be good there. Though you wont see a huge difference going from Celeron to P4, HT is good though. hope that helps.

the ones with ht are pretty expensive so i ll go with the cheap solution (that cpu costs ~20 euros) ,i ve checked that the socket and fsb are the ones needed but my concern is the L2 cache and if that might cause incompatibility, but does cpu cache have anything to do with the mobo? as i see it its only in the cpu part and doesnt have anything to do with the mobo, but i dont know much do you really thing that there isnt gonna be any noticable change in my computer if i change the cpu? (i am asking, i dont know :-/ ) doesnt it worth the change? i mean i move from celeron->p4 , 2.4->2.8 , 128kb cache->1mb (dont know if the last makes any difference ) thanks for helping
