Using unavailable space in a size limited laptop hdd

I accidentally bought a 250gb hdd for a C640 Laptop. If you don't already know, the C640 doesn't support hdds over 137gb. So my question is, is there ANY way I can remote to the HDD to use the unavailable space or am I limited by the BIOS no matter what I do?

You can use the 250GB hard drive if you partition it into two logical drives and keep drive C below the 137 GB Bios limit (128 GB as reported by Windows Explorer).
